  2. I have had limited experience with GPS systems. Most of what I have seen has come from trying to find the best route in an unfamiliar place via car. It is always extremely helpful because even though it may not really know the area like a human, it will calculate the best route using math and things. However, I have experienced difficulties with GPS systems giving an incorrect route on multiple occasions. Sometimes they do make errors in their calculations. For the most part they are very helpful and the mistakes are outweighed by when it is working properly.

  3. I have never used GPS in my life, though I know it is a tool that helps people navigate their surroundings. I am eager to learn more about it.

  4. A previous experience that I have with GPS is one day when I was with my sister and we were looking for this new place where we were getting out eyes checked in Waterloo, IA. We used the GPS ap on my phone to navagate us to that destination. It worked very well and gave good directions. I haven't had a lot of experiences with a GPS, but one other experience of my use of GPS is when my friends and I were going to the basketball state tournament. We definitely needed the GPS to find our way because it gets pretty tricky when you get into Des Moines where it was located. So that was very helpful to us as well. I have not used a GPS a lot, but I feel as if I know a good amount about them. GPS helps greatly.

  5. I own a Garmin, which is a basic unit used for travel directions but it can also be used to find near by places of interest such as malls, universities, and others. It was very helpful when traveling in areas of the country that we had not been before, the only bad thing about it was that it lost the signal very easily when in major cities due to the large buildings.

  6. I have not had very much experience with GPS, but I have seen them used a couple of times. I have been in the car when someone was using them on a trip. They seem very helpful, and its a lot more advanced then a map. You can type in where you want to go, and it will give you the best route to get there. That is the coolest part because even if you know how to get there you might not know the quickest route. I look forward to learning more about GPS.

  7. I have no experience with a GPS. There have been many times where I wished I had one while I was in a car driving somewhere and didn't know where in the world I was. I am interested to see how helpful and useful a GPS could be... yay for new experiences and technology!

  8. I have had some experiences with GPS devices before. I have been Geocaching a couple of times and have been used the devices to mark different places on the map. Most of my GPS experience has come from devices made for GPS, although I have also used my GPS navigation app on my phone to go different places.

  9. I have had little experience with GPS devices. I recall using it when me and my friends went up to Minnesota for summer vacation. We used GPS and it helped us navigate through highways and interstates. We got there on time and I thought it was very helpful.
